"I use the drop off service when I fish in Talkeetna which allows me to fish at my own pace and location. I do however fish around the guides and I will say that the guides from Phantom Charter are by far the most professional and courteous of the guides who fish there. Not only will they put you on fish (guides do that) but they work hard to ensure that your experience is memorable and that you will stay a fan of Talkeetna forever! Fish on!"

Late August Silvers
"Our group booked two days with Phantom late in August 2018 with high water. Our first trip out included all five of our traveling party, the catch was a little disappointing, but we did catch fish. Apparently the boat we were on had some limitations for access in certain areas, but we did land a few fish and the guide was friendly and very helpful and was also apologetic for the conditions even though they were out if his control. We appreciated that. The second day presented even higher waters and the potential for rain and we almost cancelled, but I'm glad we didn't. We had a different guide and boat and were taken to a hole that produced a limit for our party of three on this run and for two additional folks in about an hour and half. Our guide Israel was hustling in and out of the boat to net fish and did an outstanding job keeping up. Should we find ourselves in the area again and looking for a Salmon fishing trip I would definitely book with Phantom. Thank you for a good time and a bounty of Silvers."
